Growing Your Own Food

Fruit trees and veggies are a great investment for your personal garden. They can provide generations of family members with fresh options for nutrition and the opportunity to sell or trade with locals.

Additional Things That Grow in Our Private Garden:

We grow blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, watermelon, pears, pomegranate, peppers, tomatoes, beans, lettuce, kale, peppermint, lemon balm, sage, basil, and thyme.

We often trade with neighbors that grow pomegranates, collard greens, mustard greens, lemons, figs, apples, and peanuts.
