Why I Chose to Double Major in Studio Art and Community Arts (Civic Engagement)
I've always been passionate about art. I love the way it can express emotions, tell stories, and make people think. When I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to study art in college.
I was accepted to a few different art schools, but I ultimately decided to attend a school that offered a double major in studio art and community arts. I was drawn to this program because it allowed me to combine my love of art with my desire to make a difference in the world.
I'm now in my senior year of college, and I'm so glad that I chose to double major. My studio art classes have taught me the skills I need to be a successful artist. I've learned how to use different mediums, how to develop my own artistic style, and how to critique my own work.
My community arts classes have taught me how to use art to engage with the community. I've learned how to facilitate art workshops, how to create public art projects, and how to use art to promote social change.
I'm excited to graduate with a double major in studio art and community arts. I know that these degrees will give me the skills and knowledge I need to pursue a career in the arts. I'm also excited to use my art to make a difference in the world.
Here are some of the reasons why I chose to double major in studio art and community arts:
I love art and I want to learn as much as I can about it.
I want to use art to make a difference in the world.
I want to be a well-rounded artist who can work in a variety of settings.
I want to have the opportunity to collaborate with other artists and community members.
I'm so glad that I made the decision to double major in studio art and community arts. It's been a challenging but rewarding experience, and I've learned so much. I'm excited to use my degrees to pursue a career in the arts and to make a difference in the world.
